Engelmann Sensor GmbH is consistently committed to sustainable management and resource conservation. We believe that together we can contribute to the environment. For this reason, we have developed a recycling concept and opened a recycling center.

Since the beginning of 2023, our customers can return heat meters that have reached the end of their service life. After receiving the meters, they are disassembled and their main components hydraulics, electronics, sensors, housing and battery are divided. All components are intensively cleaned, inspected and sorted out in an initial pre-selection. The components that can be reused are checked for their technical properties in a 100% test. Only if they pass this test can the components go into production for new SensoStar 3.

This circular economy not only saves valuable natural resources, but also reduces waste and protects the environment. We are proud of the fact that we avoid many tons of waste every year and at the same time reuse a large number of parts and components several times. In addition, we dispose of the defective components in an environmentally friendly manner or use them for other products.

Our recycling concept is an important part of Engelmann’s strategy and demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection. We believe that every individual can make a difference and we are proud to play our part in creating a sustainable future.
