Our kick-off event on 19.04.

Our Engelmann kick-off event is over and it was great. On 19.04.2024, our employees started their day with going to our second location in Hirschhorn am Neckar. Our colleagues there are already hard at work setting up production for our new WaterStar M. The recycling of our heat meters is already taking place there. Two buses took the 100 or so colleagues there. They met almost 40 other colleagues on site and then traveled with them to Heidelberg Castle. When we got off the buses, we were served cherry cake, poppy seed crumble and lots of coffee before everyone listened intently to the presentations from the individual departments. Our research and development department, product management, national and international sales, purchasing, order center, production, logistics, quality department and finance all provided feedback and outlooks.

The finale was our long-standing colleague Reinhard Tischler, who was honored by Michael Keuthen for his decades of loyalty to Engelmann and who is now taking his well-deserved retirement.

The official part was over, but the party was far from over. Although it was raining cats and dogs and it was cold and uncomfortable, the colleagues did not miss the opportunity to take the solar boat across the Neckar. Yes, you can do that without direct sunshine. Afterwards, everyone set off to round off the day at the Kulturbrauerei in Heidelberg.
