Engelmann at the Aquatherm in Baku
10 million inhabitants and around 87,000 square kilometers: That is Azerbaijan. The Caucasian country is now characterized by state-of-the-art infrastructure projects and increasing investment in residential construction. This is of particular interest to us, as heating interface units (HIU) are increasingly being used for new private residential buildings and boilers are becoming less important. If HIUs are installed, heat meters are also automatically installed. Ideally those from Engelmann. In the capital Baku, but also in the Karabakh region, numerous construction projects require an increasing demand for HIUs and meters.
Aquatherm Baku took place in Baku in October 2024. The trade fair is the perfect platform for meeting and talking to potential partners and customers. Technical projects and their requirements play a key role here. Based on this, our colleagues Milan Cervenansky and Benedikt Heid were able to provide advice and support. Aquatherm attracted over 400 exhibitors from 23 countries. However, only one of them, Engelmann, exhibited heat meters on site.
In addition to our SensoStar heat meter, the WaterStar water meter and the FlowStar volume measuring unit, the Heat Cost Allocator HCA e2 and our Gateway, our partner TayTech Enerji was also on site with its own HIU. Installed there: our SensoStar, of course. Many interested customers and partners spoke to us, making the trade fair a complete success. Particularly interesting for us: discussions with a general importer for our entire portfolio. We are looking forward to this exciting market and are sure that Aquatherm will continue to be a relevant trade fair for us in the future.
