10 years of Engelmann in China: 10,000 kilometers away from Baiertal.

Mountain climbing, boating, hot springs and a campfire party: 10,000 kilometers away from Baiertal, our colleagues celebrated the 10th anniversary of Engelmann in China. While we were freezing in Germany, our Chinese colleagues in Liyang (Changzhou) celebrated a wonderful event from 23 to 25 November 2023. We would have loved to have been there, but 15 hours by plane, 128 hours by car or 138 days on foot were a bit too much. Even though the team-building event was also the celebration of Engelmann’s 10th anniversary in China.

First they went up to the top of Bamboo Mountain. The area is known for its bamboo culture and offers breathtaking nature. Our Chinese colleagues didn’t need to be told twice: one hike later and they were relaxing on the nearby lake, enjoying hot springs and ending the event with a campfire. This united the Engelmann China team and showed once again how important our employees are to us at Engelmann. Because despite highly efficient work, absolute innovative thinking in submetering and an incomparable speed in production, Engelmann employees come first. Not only in Germany, but also in China. The colleagues proved this impressively.

This has been demonstrated time and again over the past 10 years. The first Engelmann products were launched on the Chinese market in 2005. Since 2013, our colleagues at Engelmann Instrument (Xuzhou) Co. have been producing our high-quality Engelmann products for the Chinese market independently of Baiertal. All this is only possible with a brilliant team that is technically up to date. And it was precisely this team that celebrated 10 years of Engelmann China in November 2023.
